Fitzpatricks has been manufacturing Shock Absorbing bumpers for fleets since 1978.

The same quality used in tough enivronments of daily delivery trucks was utilized for the design of our Ambulance Bumpers.

While our bumpers are strong and lightweight, they are also very durable.  Our sealed box pipe construction allows our bumpers to withstand repeated 6mph impacts on a 6" round steel post across the entire width/face of the bumper without major deformity.  Most Ambulance bumpers are rigidly attached and cannot withstand the same impact as a Fitzpatrick Bumper without having to be replaced.

We also offer a Flip-Up Center Section on our bumpers to meet the "K" specification on a larger modular ambulance.

Baked-on Powder Coat is available along with our other standard Galvanized Safety Step Area & dipped E-coating which allows the Fitzpatrick Bumper to surpass the 1000-hour ASTM B-117 salt test.

Fitzpatrick Ambulance Bumpers used on 1ton GM and Ford vans have "Gap Guard".  This allows for the bumper to move under the factory bumper while maintaining a safe step area.

The easy bolt-on application takes one person approximately 1/2 hour to install.

Bumpers are sold complete with Bumper Step Area, Shock set, & bolts to mount the Shocks to the Bumper.
